I am a graduate of the Cortiva Institute of Massage – Seattle, and nationally certified through NCBTMB. I am trained in Oncology massage by Tracy Walton, and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. My Complete Decongestive Therapy training (135 hrs) was through Klose Traning. My massage experience includes spa, chiropractic, and injury rehabilitation clinics. I am also a certified chiropractic x-ray technician.

I am trained in core massage modalities such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofacial Release, and Trigger Point work. In addition, I offer Hot Stone.

In addition to bodywork, I have been practicing yoga for eleven years and have completed a two hundred hour teacher training program in Viniyoga. The Viniyoga lineage is primarily focused on extension of the spine and coordinating movement with the breath, and is particularly effective in injury recovery. As a yoga instructor, my experience observing the body in motion allows a fresh perspective for the massage client not only during intake and in creating an effective massage plan, but also in suggesting take-home stretches for clients.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative History of Ideas, graduating Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Washington.
